Statement of Faith
- The Word of God- We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the verbally inspired Word of God. It is the complete and final revelation of the will of God to man, and is the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:19-21). We believe that the Authorized King James Version is the preserved Word of God and is the only Bible used in English services here.
- The Godhead- We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit-who are equal in power and glory, and possess the same attributes of Deity (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; II Corinthians 13:14; I John 5:7).
- Salvation- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice. We believe that all who repent, and by faith receive Him as their personal Savior, are justified on the basis of His blood shed on Calvary and His resurrection from the dead. Those who trust Him are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become the children of God (John 3:3-6 and 16; John 10:28-29; Acts 16:31; Ephesians 2:8-10).
- Eternal Security- We believe that all who are born again have perfect, complete, and eternal salvation in Jesus Christ (John 3:3; John 10:28; Galations 3:24-26; I John 5:13; II Timothy 1:12).
- Second Coming of Christ- We believe the Lord will personally come for His Church before the Tribulation. We believe that this event could occur at any moment (Matthew 24: 27-31; I Thessalonians 4: 13-18: John 14: 1-3).
- The Christian Life- We believe that a Christian should desire to live a life of righteousness and separation unto God and from the world. This is manifested in speaking the truth, maintaining sanctity of the home, settling differences between Christians in accordance with the Bible, showing a Christ-like attitude toward all men, and exhibiting the fruit of the Spirit (I Corinthians 6:1-8; James 5:12).
